Our Goal

We aim to serve as a resource in the areas of Land Use Law and Disability. Specifically, these pages focus on the relationship between Land Use and Zoning law and the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)

A Place to Start

For those who are unfamiliar with this field of study and are not sure where to begin, visit the link below for a primer on the ADA.

The Department of Justice ADA Primer

The Department of Justice revised its regulations implementing the ADA in September 2010. The new rules clarify issues that arose over the previous 20 years and contain new requirements, including the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design (2010 Standards). This document provides general guidance to help understand and comply with the ADA's requirements.
